A 19-year-old, Michael Hollis, was arrested and charged with murder following a drive-by shooting that killed 12-year-old Ja’Nylen Amir Greggs in southwest Atlanta on Thursday, October 5, 2023. Police reported that a conflict between two groups at an apartment complex led to the shooting, which made Ja’Nylen the youngest homicide victim in Atlanta this year.
