Jay Berger, the suspect in a shooting incident at the Four Seasons Midtown on Tuesday, allegedly engaged in a standoff with SWAT officers, during which he flooded his condominium and fired at officers, injuring one. The situation escalated after a neighbor reported Berger's erratic behavior, leading to a police response that resulted in a lengthy standoff, gunfire, and eventual capture using an explosive device. Berger, who has a history of mental health issues, is now facing multiple charges, including aggravated assault against law enforcement officers, and is being held without bond at the Fulton County Jail.
