Atlanta Hosts Billboard Campaign to Combat Sex Trafficking During NCAA March Madness Tournament

A nationwide billboard campaign aimed at combating sex trafficking has launched in Atlanta as the city prepares to host NCAA March Madness games on March 28 and 30. Digital billboards near Marietta Street and Ivan Allen Jr. Boulevard display messages warning against the dangers of sex buying, with similar campaigns in seven other cities hosting tournament games. Yasmin Vafa, co-founder of Rights4Girls, emphasized the need for vigilance during large events, while an FBI spokesperson noted that while demand for commercial sex may rise, there is little evidence of a corresponding increase in human trafficking cases.
