Atlanta Man Arrested for Murder Following Deadly Shooting Near Local Businesses
A man named Jasen Williams, 23, was arrested on Saturday after turning himself in at the Fulton County Jail following a deadly shooting in southwest Atlanta. The incident occurred on Friday near several businesses on Campbellton Road, where 21-year-old Jamar Akins was found with a gunshot wound and pronounced dead at the scene. Police reported that Williams and Akins were familiar with each other and their ongoing dispute led to the fatal confrontation.
