Shamsud-Din Jabbar, 42, identified as the suspect in a New Year's Day terrorist attack in New Orleans that killed 15 and injured dozens, previously lived in metro Atlanta and graduated from Georgia State University in 2017. Jabbar, a U.S. citizen and Army veteran, was killed in a shootout with law enforcement at the scene, where he drove a rented truck displaying an ISIS flag into a crowd on Bourbon Street. The FBI is investigating potential associates and any links to terrorist organizations, as officials believe Jabbar may not have acted alone.
