Atlanta Man Sentenced to 15 Years for Shooting at FBI Agent During Car Theft Scheme
Keith Pharms, a 26-year-old Atlanta man, has been sentenced to over 15 years in federal prison for his role in a car theft and for firing shots at an FBI agent during the pursuit on February 24, 2022. Pharms was convicted on multiple charges, including assaulting a federal officer, and will serve 15 years followed by three years of supervised release. He had been released from state prison just eight days prior to the incident, which involved a stolen Chevrolet SS and a Dodge Charger, and was apprehended a month later along with accomplices during a police raid.
