Fortune Jaquan Spencer, 30, was sentenced to life in prison after a Fulton County jury found him guilty of murdering his girlfriend, Sherika Monique Little, 24, on June 6, 2020, outside a Sandy Springs hotel. The incident escalated as Spencer attempted to carjack multiple vehicles and shot at police officers while fleeing the scene. Following his conviction on 22 charges, including murder and aggravated assault, he received a sentence of life without parole plus an additional 145 years.
