LILBURN — Carmine, a black coyote at Yellow River Wildlife Sanctuary, became well-known for playing with dogs during his time as a wild coyote in Cobb County, which ultimately led to his capture for safety. After being rescued in February 2020, he now lives in a secure enclosure with another coyote named Wilee, where he receives care and companionship. Although his life in captivity provides safety, it raises questions about the loss of his wild instincts and freedom.
