Cobb police reported that a portion of I-75 in Cobb County was closed for about two hours on Friday afternoon due to a suspicious item left on the road. The item, described as a pipe with wires on both ends, was determined to be empty and posed no hazardous threat. Authorities conducted an investigation but found nothing of concern.
