A CSX train derailed in Fayette County on Tuesday afternoon, with six rail cars coming off the tracks near Tyrone Road and Senoia Road in Tyrone around 4 p.m. According to company spokesperson Austin Staton, there were no injuries reported and no threat to the safety of the surrounding community, as the derailed cars were not hazardous. The incident is under investigation, and Tyrone Road is currently blocked at the rail line.
