Decades Later, Cold Case of David Clary Finally Solved Through DNA Technology in Georgia

David Clary, who went missing in July 1986, has been identified through DNA testing as a homicide victim after his remains were discovered in north Georgia. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation announced that a collaboration with the Texas lab Othram and other law enforcement agencies led to his identification, although the investigation into his death remains ongoing. Clary, last known to be in Gwinnett County, had previously made trips to Metro Atlanta and North Georgia.
