Defendant in Young Slime Life Trial Stabbed While Awaiting Jury Verdict in Fulton County Jail

Deamonte Kendrick, one of the defendants in the "Young Slime Life" gang trial, was stabbed Sunday night at a Fulton County Jail annex while awaiting a jury verdict, according to his attorney Doug Weinstein. The incident occurred at the Union City annex, where Kendrick suffered minor injuries and received treatment. The Fulton Sheriff’s Office is investigating the altercation to identify the aggressor and determine if charges will be filed, as both Kendrick and his co-defendant, Shannon Stillwell, have faced violent incidents while in custody.
