DeKalb County firefighters responded Friday morning to a vehicle crash in the woods on Waldrop Road near Decatur, where they extricated a man who was later found to have died from a gunshot wound. The victim, believed to be in his 40s, has not been identified. The circumstances surrounding the shooting and crash are under investigation.
