DeKalb County Love Triangle Turns Deadly as Man Convicted of Murder in Shocking Case
In a love triangle case from 2021, Isaac Thompson, 24, of Stone Mountain, was convicted of felony murder, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony for the shooting death of 22-year-old Aquandis Foston. The incident occurred on February 20, 2021, when Thompson shot Foston outside a DeKalb County townhouse after Foston insisted on speaking with Thompson's girlfriend, Makayla Bolston, who had invited him over. Thompson, who will not be eligible for parole, was arrested days later, while Bolston, 21, remains in jail awaiting trial on related charges.
