Nicholas Wimbish, a 25-year-old former poll worker from Milledgeville, Georgia, was convicted on Friday for sending a false bomb threat to an election superintendent while posing as a voter. He pleaded guilty to providing false information and faces up to five years in prison, along with a possible fine of $250,000, with sentencing scheduled for May. The threat, which included details aimed at implicating a voter, was mailed to the elections office after a dispute with a voter on October 16, 2023.
