Fulton County Prosecutors Prepare for Second Young Slime Life Trial Following Historic Verdict
Fulton County prosecutors are preparing for a second trial in the "Young Slime Life" case, set to begin on February 24, 2024, for the remaining five defendants. This follows the recent conclusion of the longest trial in Georgia history, in which two defendants were acquitted of the most serious charges and six others had their charges dropped. Chief Deputy District Attorney Adam Abbate stated that the new trial aims to allow sufficient time for any outstanding motions and to coordinate witness appearances, with expectations that it will last approximately three months.
