Kendasia Hughley, a 27-year-old day care worker at Forsyth Methodist Church in Monroe County, faces criminal charges for allegedly administering Benadryl to two-year-olds to induce sleep during nap time on March 5. The incident was reported by a co-worker and led to charges of reckless conduct, with the investigation ongoing and potential for additional charges. Despite the allegations being known last Wednesday, the day care's director did not report the incident to the Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning until Sunday evening, after public awareness increased.
