Manhunt ends as two arrested after Forsyth County shooting incident
A manhunt is over, and two men are in custody after a domestic incident led to a shooting in a Forsyth County neighborhood on Tuesday. Around 8:30 a.m., a dispute between known parties escalated into gunfire near Kelly Mill Road and Barrett Downs Drive. Neighbors reported stray bullets entering a child's bedroom, prompting calls to 911. The Forsyth County Sheriff's Office confirmed the incident in a news release. Officials issued a shelter in place request to residents while searching for those involved. They discovered a car with numerous bullet holes at a nearby business and located a woman connected to the incident. She reported that the victim, James Treadwell, had fled the scene. The investigation continues as authorities work to gather more information and ensure community safety.
