Marietta Man Arrested for Murder After Fatal Shooting at Local Car Wash
On December 30, 2023, Daniel Lanard Richardson Jr., 59, was found dead from a gunshot wound at a car wash in Marietta. Authorities arrested 70-year-old Robert Baker on January 8, 2024, charging him with murder, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. Baker, who was identified through technology and witness statements, is being held without bond at the Cobb County Adult Detention Center.
