Metro Atlanta Pediatric Dentist Pleads Guilty to Child Pornography Charges Following FBI Investigation

Paul Kim, a 31-year-old pediatric dentist from Sandy Springs, Georgia, has pleaded guilty to possessing thousands of images and videos depicting the sexual abuse of minors. The U.S. Department of Justice reported that Kim had materials showing children under 12 engaging in sexually explicit activities, which he possessed while caring for patients. His case emerged from an FBI investigation into a commercial sexual exploitation ring, leading to the seizure of nearly 2,000 images and 800 videos of child sexual exploitation from his home. Kim is set for sentencing on November 21, 2023.
