Missing 6-Year-Old Boy Found Dead in Clayton County Pond

Clayton County Police Department reported that a 6-year-old nonverbal boy named Ramon Jett, who went missing in Riverdale on Sunday, was found dead in a pond near his last known location. Ramon was last seen on the 8000 block of Webb Road between 11:30 a.m. and noon on Sunday. He was described as vulnerable due to a mental health condition that affected his ability to communicate. Following his disappearance, the police department initiated an extensive search, employing K-9 teams, drones, patrol officers, and detectives. The search efforts were extensive, but unfortunately, they did not lead to his safe recovery. Clayton County's latest news release confirmed that the family has been notified of the tragic outcome. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution was unable to reach the family for comments regarding the incident. The community is mourning the loss of a young boy whose life was cut short under heartbreaking circumstances.
