Ervin Lee Bolling, a U.S. Navy veteran from South Carolina, has been sentenced to 21 years of restitution payments totaling over $25,000 after pleading guilty to destruction of government property for an incident at the FBI's Atlanta office on April 1, 2024. U.S. District Judge Sarah E. Geraghty ordered Bolling to serve two years of probation and participate in mental health and substance abuse treatment programs, while crediting him for time served in custody. Bolling caused damage exceeding $1,000 by crashing his vehicle into the FBI gate in Chamblee before attempting to approach an agent on foot.
