New Arrest in Whitfield County Park Shooting Leaves Four Dead, Suspect Charged with Murder

Andres Jared Guzman, 18, of Rome, has been arrested and charged with murder in connection with a shooting that left four men dead in Pleasant Grove Park, Whitfield County, on August 25, 2022. The victims, identified as Daniel Segura-Cruz, 17; Robert Valencia, 18; Joshua Pedro Pelico-Pelico, 19; and David Antonio Delgadillo, 21, were involved in a shootout that reportedly stemmed from a robbery attempt. Another suspect, a 16-year-old, was arrested shortly after the incident, and Guzman is currently held in Whitfield County jail without bond.
