A woman was shot and killed by police on Sunday after allegedly stabbing a man to death during a domestic dispute at the Columns at Hiram Apartments in Paulding County. Hiram police responded to a call about the assault but were unable to subdue the woman with Tasers, leading to the confrontation where she approached officers with a knife. The man died at the scene from his injuries, while the woman was pronounced dead later at a hospital; the Georgia Bureau of Investigation is looking into the incident.
