A patrol car outside the Roswell Police Department has been adorned with flowers in memory of Officer Jeremy Labonte, who was fatally shot while responding to a suspicious person call on Friday evening. The department and the Friends of Roswell Police have initiated a fundraiser to support Labonte's family, as he was remembered for his dedication and service to the community. Edward Espinoza, 23, has been charged with murder and other offenses related to the incident, which is currently under investigation by the GBI.
