Security Guard Shot While Stopping Auto Theft in Southwest Atlanta Apartment Complex

A security guard was shot while working at an apartment complex in the 3000 block of Landrum Drive in southwest Atlanta on Tuesday evening, around 7:40 p.m. The 27-year-old victim was injured in the leg while trying to intervene in an auto theft and was alert when transported to a hospital. The suspect fled the scene and remains unidentified.
