Teen Driver Arrested in Fatal Forsyth County Crash That Killed Woman and Injured Fiancé
A 17-year-old boy has been arrested in Forsyth County after allegedly striking and killing Leslie Schwendiman while injuring her fiancé, Steve Olsen, on September 20. The teenager turned himself in and faces multiple charges, including second-degree homicide by vehicle, after the incident occurred while he was driving to Denmark High School. The couple, who were visiting for a wedding, was walking on the sidewalk when the teen lost control of his vehicle.
