A 14-month-old boy, Amir Blackwell, died after being exposed to fentanyl found near his car seat and in a bedroom in Gwinnett County. D'Brianne McMillan, 30, has been arrested on multiple charges, including second-degree murder and cruelty to children, for allegedly leaving the child unattended near illegal drugs. This incident marks the second fentanyl-related death investigation by Gwinnett police within days, following the arrest of David Shane Lancaster, 45, who is charged with murdering two men from fentanyl overdoses.
