Michael McKenzie, 72, and Darla McKenzie, 68, a retired couple from Roswell, were fatally shot near Gadsden, Alabama, on Tuesday while visiting family. Their son-in-law, Christopher Scott Johnson, has been charged with capital murder in connection with the incident. Both McKenzies had distinguished legal careers, with Darla serving at Morris, Manning and Martin, LLP, and Mike at Cozen O’Connor, where he was known for his mentorship and community service.
