Forsyth County crews responded to a fire early Friday morning at a home located at 9040 Fairlane Trail near Lake Lanier, where the remains of one person were discovered. Firefighters arrived around 5 a.m. to find the single-story house fully engulfed in flames and later controlled the blaze. Investigators from the Forsyth County Fire Marshal's Office and the sheriff's office are conducting an investigation, with the county coroner set to determine the cause of death.
