Tragic House Fire Claims Five Lives in Northwest Georgia as Investigation Continues
The cause of a house fire in Cohutta, northwest Georgia, that resulted in the deaths of five individuals, including three children, is under investigation as of late Wednesday. The Whitfield County Fire Department responded to the blaze at approximately 3:30 a.m. on Tree Top Lane, where nine fire trucks were deployed to extinguish the flames and the home was ultimately destroyed. Fire Chief Paul Patterson expressed condolences to the affected family and emphasized the department's commitment to uncovering the cause of the tragic incident.
