Tragic Standoff Ends in Death at Southwest Atlanta Apartment Complex

Two people were found dead on Friday following a standoff at the Oglethorpe Place apartments in southwest Atlanta. Police conducted a wellness check at the complex and encountered a man who barricaded himself inside a unit, later leading to his detention. During a search of the apartment, authorities discovered the bodies of Marvin Spencer and his girlfriend, Henretta Russell, although details regarding the time of death and manner of death have not been released.
