Ways to Support Victims of New Orleans New Year Attack: Donations Blood Drives and Fundraisers

On January 1, 2023, a tragic attack in New Orleans resulted in the deaths of 14 people, including an 18-year-old aspiring nurse, when a man drove a truck into a crowd in the French Quarter. Shamsud-Din Jabbar, the suspect, was shot and killed by police. In response to the tragedy, various fundraising efforts have been initiated, including GoFundMe pages for victims' families, a New Orleans New Year’s Day Tragedy Fund, and the United for New Orleans Relief Fund, all aimed at providing support to those affected by the incident.
