Arrest Made in Gwinnett County Church Shooting as New Details Reveal Grisly Murder of Oscar Alexis Cruz

On July 22, Oscar Alexis Cruz was found dead in the parking lot of Cannon United Methodist Church in Gwinnett County, and new details have emerged following the arrest of Raymond Cooper, 34. Cooper has been charged with multiple felonies, including malice murder and armed robbery, after allegedly breaking into Cruz's home, kidnapping him, and subsequently shooting him approximately 17 times at the church. He is currently being held without bond in Gwinnett County jail.
