Beloved Atlanta Attorney Ken Rosskopf Dies After Bicycle Collision in Decatur

Ken Rosskopf, an 85-year-old attorney from metro Atlanta known for his passion for bicycling law and safety, died following a collision with a truck in Decatur on Thursday night. Rosskopf, who had dedicated his career to advocating for injured cyclists, was returning home from a group ride when the accident occurred at the intersection of Clairemont Avenue and Ponce de Leon Place. Although he initially appeared alert after the crash, his condition deteriorated rapidly, and he passed away the next day surrounded by family. The incident is under investigation, and police have not yet determined the cause or if any charges will be filed.
