Patel had spent over six weeks in jail following his March 22 arrest, but surveillance footage appeared to contradict the mother's claims, leading to the dismissal of all charges after a meeting between Patel and his accuser. Patel expressed relief at the decision, stating he was grateful to finally enjoy his freedom.
