Cobb County Arrests Alleged Venezuelan Gang Leader Linked to Chicago Murder Case

Ricardo Gonzales, a high-ranking member of the Venezuelan street gang Tren De Aragua, was arrested in Cobb County on Thursday in connection with a fatal shooting in Chicago. Gonzales, who entered the U.S. illegally, faces charges including first-degree murder and kidnapping after allegedly kidnapping three women and shooting them in January, resulting in two deaths. During his arrest, five others were also taken into custody, and Gonzales is awaiting extradition to Illinois.
