Cobb County Police Shooting: Man Wanted on Felony Gun Charges Killed at Walgreens
A man shot and killed by police at a Cobb County Walgreens on Friday evening was identified as 32-year-old Nathain Jenkins of Valdosta, who was wanted on felony gun charges and had outstanding warrants in multiple counties. The shooting occurred shortly before 11:30 p.m., and while Jenkins was taken to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital, he was pronounced dead. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is conducting an independent investigation into the incident, which marks the 48th officer-involved shooting the agency has been asked to investigate this year.
