A DeKalb County police officer crashed into the back of a dump truck during a pursuit of a vehicle believed to be involved in multiple armed robberies just after midnight on Wednesday. The officer sustained moderate injuries and was taken to a local hospital, where he is expected to recover. Meanwhile, the driver of the suspect vehicle, a stolen white 2016 Nissan Maxima, and a passenger escaped, and police are seeking assistance in locating them.
