Domestic Dispute Turns Fatal in Paulding County as Man Charged with Murder of Wife's Friend

A domestic dispute in Villa Rica led to a fatal shooting early Tuesday, as Rick Joseph Reed allegedly shot his wife's friend, Abraham Suarez Santiago, during the altercation. Deputies found Santiago deceased near the roadway after responding to the incident on Windsor View Lane. Reed has been arrested and charged with murder and aggravated assault, and he is currently being held without bond at the Paulding jail while the investigation, assisted by the GBI, continues.
