Expert Diver Keith Cormican Locates Missing Boater Gary Jones Body at Lake Oconee After Month of Searches

Keith Cormican, a Wisconsin-based expert in locating drowning victims, traveled to Lake Oconee to assist in the search for missing boater Gary Jones, whose body was discovered a day after Cormican's arrival. Jones, a Westminster School physics teacher, vanished on February 8, and his empty boat was found shortly before his body was located in about 45 feet of water. Cormican, who has recovered nearly 60 individuals in his three-decade career, utilized advanced sonar equipment and a remotely operated vehicle during the search, demonstrating his expertise in challenging underwater environments.
