Expert Diver Takes on Challenging Search for Missing Teacher Gary Jones at Lake Oconee

Keith Cormican, a Wisconsin-based underwater search expert, is set to assist in the search for Gary Jones, a Westminster Schools teacher who has been missing since February 8 after his empty boat was found on Lake Oconee. Cormican, invited by Jones' family, plans to utilize specialized sonar equipment and a remotely operated vehicle to explore the lake's depths, where authorities believe Jones' body may be located. Despite the challenging conditions of the lake, Cormican remains hopeful that his efforts will yield new leads in the ongoing search, which has involved local law enforcement and volunteers since Jones' disappearance.
