Fayette County Man Arrested in Louisiana for Allegedly Killing and Burning Wife's Body
Kenneth Hardin Jr., 39, was arrested on Thursday in Covington, Louisiana, after being identified as the suspect in the murder of his wife, Carrie Hardin, at their Fayette County home. According to Fayette Sheriff Barry Babb, Hardin admitted to fatally shooting his wife during an argument that escalated after midnight on Tuesday, and he later burned her body and left town. Investigators discovered Carrie Hardin's partially burned remains in a shallow grave behind their home, and Hardin is currently being held as a fugitive while authorities continue their investigation.
