Kathleen Bass' remains were discovered on the side of a road in July 2020, nearly a month after her death. James Lee Griffin, 60, of Lithonia, was sentenced to life plus 10 years in prison after being found guilty of felony murder, malice murder, aggravated assault, and concealing the death of another person in connection with Bass' fatal stabbing.
