Man Accused of Murder Captured After Ceiling Fall During SWAT Standoff in Fayette County

John Seay, 47, was booked into the Clayton County Jail on Friday after a manhunt and SWAT standoff that began when he allegedly shot and killed a person at a Jonesboro service station on March 26. Seay, who was placed on the sheriff's top 10 most wanted list, was apprehended in a Fayette County warehouse following a brief standoff with law enforcement. He faces 17 charges, including murder and armed robbery, and is being held without bond.
