Nearly two months after Shaquille O'Neal's new Range Rover was customized near Dahlonega and then disappeared in Atlanta during transport, a man has been charged in connection with a phishing scheme. The suspect, Anthony Del Rosario, a 33-year-old from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, was arrested in Mount Vernon, New York, after the Lumpkin County Sheriff's Office executed 19 search warrants. He is facing a charge of theft by deception and will be extradited to Georgia. Lumpkin Sheriff Stacy Jarrard confirmed the arrest and stated that the investigation is ongoing. The vehicle was reportedly being transported to O'Neal when it vanished. Authorities are still working to determine the full extent of the scheme.
