Man Hospitalized After Gunfire Exchange with Police and Shed Fire in Houston County Incident

A man was hospitalized on Sunday morning after exchanging gunfire with police and setting fire to a shed during a domestic violence incident in Warner Robins, Houston County. Jesus Chavez-Ledesma, 46, shot at responding officers and barricaded himself inside the shed before igniting the structure and continuing to fire at the police. He was subsequently shot by an officer, taken to a hospital, and is expected to survive, while no officers were injured; the GBI is investigating the incident.
