Asia Calabrese-Lewis was found not guilty by reason of insanity for the death of her 1-year-old daughter, Nirvana Oliver, whose body was discovered in a retention pond in Sandy Springs on May 11, 2023. Fulton County Superior Court Judge Shukura Ingram noted that Calabrese-Lewis suffers from bipolar disorder with psychotic features, which impaired her ability to distinguish right from wrong at the time of the incident.
