David Brown, a man brutally killed in Atlanta on April 24, 1996, has been identified by the DNA Doe Project after over 27 years of uncertainty. Brown was doused in kerosene and set on fire during a suspected robbery, and his remains were found in a vacant lot near his home. The identification was made possible through a DNA sample provided by the Fulton County Medical Examiner's Office, which allowed researchers to trace his family tree and link him to a missing person report filed by his family around the time of the attack.
