Search for Missing Coach Intensifies After Body of Spelman Instructor Found on Lake Oconee

Following the discovery of an empty boat on Lake Oconee, witnesses reported seeing a man and woman aboard prior to the boat being found. The body of Joycelyn Nicole Wilson, a 49-year-old Spelman College instructor, was discovered near the location of the boat, while search efforts continued for Gary Jones, a coach at Westminster Schools. Putnam County Sheriff Howard Sills announced that his office is now overseeing the death investigation.
